Reconstruction of the World : A Dream

What will be the answer if in western countries which is bustling with life and activity one were to ask how many real men lived; men whose hearts throbbed and eyes wept for the sake of humanity; men who controlled their carnal desires and were the riders and not the mounts of this civilization; who held the reins of life instead of being driven by it; who knew their Creator and whose hearts were filled with love for him and respect for mankind; who led a simple life, in harmony with nature, and were aware of true joys and genuine pleasures; who did not like tensions and conflicts in the world and hated the selfishness and greed of the politicians; who wished every country well and wanted it to prosper; who were eager to give and not to grab; who did not believe that the aim of life was only to eat, drink, and be merry, but thought that there was much more pleasure in feeding the other men and going hungry themselves; who saw gain in loss and victory in defeat; who dreamt of the reconstruction of the world and were not concerned solely with the growth and development of their own land; who wanted to see the world united, not on the transitory and artificial platform of the United Nations, but on the real and natural stage of the oneness of mankind.

    The post is beautiful. Only thing I would have done different is–instead of asking West I would have asked whole humanity.

    Answers starts with uS..

    East or west.. matters not.. it is US who must change one by ONe.. and truly as even science shows now it is human innate nature when in balance.. as the village raises the child with unconditional love.. where emotions are cherished.. and empathy is a rule of sharing.. and giving.. rather than collecting and taking.. taking no more than one gives back.. when the rules change back to what we are evolved as through the hand of God..

    Humans are amazing empathic sharing giving creatures when set free from systems based on illusory fears.. subjugation of human empathic nature.. which does include both emotional and sensual expression.. as moving.. creating.. thriving beings now..

    But when the emotions or the sensual nature of human beings are repressed the clear results as even science shows now is stress.. anxiety.. depression.. aggression.. violence.. and wars.. in the pursuit of status.. power.. and material collection where humans become more the tools of culture than being human sharing giving beings..

    And at one point in time.. the sharing and the giving.. is absolutely necessary for our survival as the social group as one family and tribe.. sadly the farther away from humans our tools become from guns to nuclear weapons.. the closer we get to wiping our faces from both the face of the earth and the face of God the same..

    We are all gifted with the relative free will to change..
    but again.. that will come from the individual first..
    before there is any hope of the group changing
    at all.. we must first start off with the reality
    that there is no east or west species
    of human being.. according
    to our DNA it is one
    tribe with
    the illusion
    of culture bringing
    discord and disunity
    to what it even means
    per the eYes of GOD
    to be a free and
    balancing human
    being with other
    humans and
    the
    rest of
    Nature..

    As history shows
    one man can make a difference..
    We need millions of men and women to make
    a difference now.. we can no longer
    rely on the prophets of the
    past alone.. we all
    must become
    at least
    healing
    prophets
    for our own human
    being first.. before we
    can save the rest of the
    world in Peace and Loving
    Balance.. once again.. as
    human
    and no longer
    A R T I F I C I A L

    Peace be with you my friend
    I just wanted to refer to one point
    The behaviour of the west is a reaction of is happenning in the east
    We are divided though strong
    We do not care about each other
    You can take Syria as a simple example..
    What did the arabs do for her?
    Nothing
    We live under the control and power of our rulers who are ( most of them) coward and friends of our enemies

      Yeah you r absolutely rite …but thats an internal debate ..we have to think n ponder within ourselves.
      But our modus oprendi should be humanity first, Justice, equality.

    In Almost All Your posts, You criticise the West. Not there is not much to criticise there. But Only the West? Therein lies the Problem.

    I appreciate Christ, who was Not a Westerner, Mohammad, who was not one either. Then there is Gandhi, St. Francis of Assissi, Abraham Lincoln, Subramaniam Bharati, …all from All over the Globe.

    People from All over the Globe have contributed, and Are contributing, and people from all over the Globe have done their best to destroy it. In these I remember stalin, hitler, genghis khan, the bjp, rss, vhp, the ISIS. I deeply deplore, and have written time and again against the Crusades, the Inquisition, the popes and bishops.

    I hope You Never again start Your writings with criticising the West. Criticise ALL who do wrong. Let Us criticise Ourselves and Ours First.

      Someone can tell you all your life that you’re inferior, but it doesn’t matter until you accept it and allow for validation. Once validation takes place, it’s then that the colonial malaise sets in like smallpox

      There’s still racism. Western Europe… has taken the native cultures of the Americas, the African cultures, the Asian civilization and lumped them together into The Others.

        You mean the Shia Sunni things do not matter? Or that Casteism, another form of racism, came up in India FROM the West? It there really a place or people who are not plagued by racism? And it all came from the West?

        Those who claim the Sunnis and Shiites are locked in a religious war are unable to explain how it was that the rival sects coexisted peacefully for centuries under Ottoman rule. In other words, the Sunni v Shiite conflict is a modern phenomenon that “coincidently” emerged only after each of the following events took place:

        1.      The West’s creation of artificial colonial states after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire in 1919.

        2.      Discovery of oil in the 1920s.

        3.      Creation of the Jewish state in 1948.

        4.      The US-led coup that overthrew a democratically elected president in Iran in 1953.

        Much has been written about the first three points, but it’s the chain of events the fourth put in motion that are still reverberating today.

        Following the coup and the reinstatement of a US-friendly dictator, Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi, American defence and civilian (oil) contractors moved into Iran during the 1950s to 1970s. America, its benefactors, and the Shah plundered Iran’s oil wealth – while poverty and unemployment skyrocketed.

        Saudi Arabia felt especially threatened by America’s “special relationship” with the Shah, and worried the US would, intentionally or unintentionally, help spread Iranian influence throughout the region.

        While Saudi Arabia had long ago subscribed to a reductionist form of Islam, which had been developed in the 18th century by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, Wahhabism was not inherently violent – although it did advocate a pro-Sunni agenda. Thus the Saudi monarchy saw Wahhabism as the ideal political tool to counter Iranian influence in the region.

      The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion […] but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

    Wow! Such strong words.
    I believe that the style of living in many parts of the world these days tend to be more materialistic than before.
    Sarcastically enough, the further one is from spiritual world, th more depressed he/she becomes. Materials don’t give peace or internal calmness. That’s the deal if it.

    You words dance with life! Your message makes one think that maybe that is why our lives here are short in this world and heavens paradise eternal. One day all will be purged of the worldly things that cause men to go crazy, destroying life and not loving and respecting life in each individual being. “Love God with all your heart and soul, and love your brother and sister as yourself.” Thanks for always writing and sharing inner beauties which are always on point!

    Interesting post, Imran, and a very interesting question. It’s not one I can answer, but I think, perhaps, the question should be directed not only at western men, but at both men and women worldwide. There are faults everywhere, as far as I can see, so apportioning blame cannot be done that simply. Thought-provoking words.
